Job Summary
Oversee and coordinate electrical and telecommunications installation maintenance and repair projects while ensuring compliance with applicable codes and safety standards. Supervise tradespersons manage schedules and resources and communicate with clients and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within scope.

- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of electricians and telecommunications technicians on construction and service sites.
- Interpret and review electrical and telecommunications plans specifications and schematics to develop work plans and material lists.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes telecommunications standards and workplace safety regulations; conduct site safety briefings and inspections.
- Assign tasks monitor quality of work provide technical guidance and deliver on-the-job training to crew members.
- Coordinate with suppliers subcontractors inspectors and project managers to schedule work and resolve technical or logistical issues.
- Prepare and review cost estimates track materials and labour usage and report on project progress and performance metrics.
- Completion of a recognized electrical or telecommunications apprenticeship program trade certificate or equivalent vocational training.
- Several years of practical experience in electrical or telecommunications trades including supervisory or lead responsibilities.
- Working knowledge of applicable electrical codes telecommunications standards and industry best practices.
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints wiring diagrams and technical schematics.
- Strong organizational skills and experience managing schedules materials and crew assignments on job sites.
- Ability to work safely at construction sites including performing physical tasks and participating in required safety training.
