Job Summary

Job Summary

Provide food preparation counter service and kitchen support to ensure efficient operation of a food service establishment. Maintain cleanliness follow food safety procedures and deliver friendly customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Main Duties
  • Prepare portion and assemble menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Receive inspect and store incoming food deliveries and assist with basic inventory rotation.
  • Operate basic kitchen equipment and utensils to perform food preparation and cooking tasks.
  • Serve customers at the counter take orders and process payments using point-of-sale systems.
  • Clean and sanitize workstations equipment dishes and service areas to meet hygiene standards.
  • Monitor food temperatures and follow safety procedures reporting any quality or safety concerns.
Requirements
  • Secondary school diploma or equivalent preferred; relevant on-the-job training accepted.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods and lifting moderate weights.
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays as required.
  • Basic numeracy and experience handling cash or operating a point-of-sale system.
  • Knowledge of or willingness to obtain food safety and sanitation certification if required by local regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail ability to follow instructions and capacity to work effectively in a team.
