Job Description

We are looking for aSenior Engineerto join theSecuritization Technologyteam and embrace a broad range of tasks associated with developing application and systems solutions to address business challenges.

The successful applicant will help design and develop technology solutions for stakeholders within theSecuritization Technologyteam. The work is wide-ranging and could include adding business functionality improving the systems non-functional characteristics (e.g. performance or stability) adding new products support or progress the platform towards our future state architecture.

The team employs an agile developmentmethodologyand work is prioritized by our stakeholders on an ongoing just in time basis. A strong emphasis is placed on software engineering skills. Our team is made up of dynamic and strong technical leads developers and BSAs who build and maintain critical technology platforms in an Agile environment. Youll be exposed to stretch assignments as you take on large-scale complex and/or enterprise-wide projects built on the.NET stack.

Teamwork and cooperation are key within this fast-paced environment so good communication skills are essential as well as a collaborative spirit. Candidates are also expected to comply with the banks in-office requirements.

Sitting in this position will help expand your knowledge strengthen your expertise and introduce you to the inner workings of a capital markets trading business alongside a team of seasoneddiversely skilledtechnology and finance professionals.

Heres some of what you may be asked to perform:

• Transform business requirements and research into winning delivery solutions that meet performance goals.

• Full stack development from UI (web technologies) to app services.

• Perform systems administration: monitor configure back-up authenticate tune.

• Aim for defect-free programming create and maintain quality code provide support during testing cycles and post-production deployment engage in peer code reviews.

• Contribute to project plans estimations and status updates.

• Identify issues develop and maintain processes that address and resolve them (and be sure to communicate/alert stakeholders as needed).

• Primarily focus on day-to-day activities.

• Make enhancements and troubleshoot.

• Configure and develop custom components with technology partners (analysts developers designers etc.) to meet requirements and goals.

• Ensure applications are free of common coding vulnerabilities (and follow standard security practices).

• Proactively put forward ideas that speak to project objectives (e.g. development testing solutions and tools).

• Complete unit and integration testing per standards and design specs.

• Take part in scope assessment risk and cost analysis.

• Respect TDs technology delivery practices and standards project management disciplines.

• Stay on top of state-of-health monitoring and monthly SLA targets.

• Apply and share technical expertise during incident management life cycle (e.g. analyzes reports and outages perform impact assessments facilitate stakeholder communication).

• Solution design: support the process of determining solutions which meet the needs of our internal clients using a combination of processes and technologies

• Solution development: in the role of an individual contributor execute the hands-on work of building the solution designed to meet theidentified business needs often working as part of a team with peers that have a wide range of expertise and skills

• Solution implementation: execute the process of putting the solution to work in producing value for the business from navigating through ourhighly regulatedprocesses to providing the highest level of post-implementation support

• Keep the business running smoothly: support team members through a variety of daily tasks and unplanned ad-hoc requests with every day bringing new challenges and opportunities to deliverinnovations.

• Undergraduate Degree or Technical Certificate.

• 5 years of solid hands-on C# programming experience

• WebUIknowledgeor experienceisbeneficial

• DBs:SQL Server

• Middleware exposure is useful e.g. MQ / Caching

• Azure or Google cloud knowledge/experience is also useful since we anticipate more cloud based work in the future.

• Experience inInterest RateDerivativetechnology teams andinterest ratederivatives knowledge is a big plus

• Readiness and motivation (as senior or lead developer and valued subject matter expert) to address and resolve highly complex and multifaceted development-related issues often independently.

• Strength in coaching and advising clients partners and project teams.

• Commitment to and belief in the quality of your deliverables.
