MRB Stress Engineer-Canada Montreal-0401-Direct Position

Job Summary: The MRB Calculators mission is to ensure the structural integrity of solutions to manufacturing solutions to manufacturing problems by performing the necessary analytical calculations on the aircraft parts aircraft parts in a timely manner. Main responsibilities:

- Perform static stress calculations to validate proposed concessions and if necessary quickly provide an

Academic background: Bachelors degree in mechanical or aeronautical engineering.

Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in calculation is required.

Special requirements:

- Good knowledge of strength of materials and ability to perform calculations by hand

- Have a background in statics fatigue and DTA;

- Good knowledge of Patran/Nastran NASGRO and the Office suite;

- Mastery of Catia and programming (VBA Python etc.);

- Have already achieved the level of MRB Stress Signatory in another program or ability to

- to reach the signatory level within 6 to 12 months;

- Previously worked on the G7500 program in computation particularly on the center section.

- Must have the ability to handle and manage stress and work under pressure;

enjoy teamwork and be a good communicator to work collaboratively with the MRB
