Job Summary
WHATS THE JOB
Reporting to the Senior Manager Infrastructure Services the mobile technician role plays a vital part in keeping technology based infrastructure running and secure.
This is a field based role on a rotation based schedule actioning items that require a hands on presence locally and preforming preventative maintenance as required to ensure systems remain optimized. Travel is required for this position. This role is safety sensitive Pre-employment Drug and Alcohol testing is required.
Service repair and install network and Internet systems
- Local management of Network switches access points security appliances and aggregation equipment.
- Replace or maintenance systems as required.
- Ensure high level or standards cable clean up performance optimization.
- Maintain exterior systems such as satellites antenna or P2P radios
Service repair and install TV systems
- Service and install Pico and Holland style head-end systems
- Service and install Analog and digital cable systems in the remote lodge environments
- Install physical television sets and monitors including brackets and cable pulls.
Service repair and install Survallance and security systems
- Repair and replace cameras and NVR equipment as required
- Install camera and security systems including alarms sensors and support hardware.
- Complete backups and firmware updates locally.
- Service and repair access control systems and AI based platforms guest door lock systems etc.
Provide Local IT and technical support for all technology-based systems
- Support remote support teams with repair and changes on site
- Work with users to improve comfort and education
- Repair and support computers phones printers and scanners and any other technology based system.
Qualifications :
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
- Highschool diploma
- Higher technology-based education at a collage university or polytechnic level.
- 1 or more Certifications in Cisco Ubiquity Fortinet or equivalent
- First-aid confined space working at heights CSTS AWP and WHIMIS
- Minimum 5 years experience in a technician role
