Mobile Heavy Duty Mechanic (310T)

The ideal candidate will be responsible for routine maintenance inspections and repairing of all company fleet at branch and client locations throughout the area. This is a permanent full-time position with travel up to 100%.

***$5000 sign on bonus available****

• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices policies and processes and always acting in a safe manner.
• Complete and follow all Field Level Hazard Assessments (FLHAs) and Job Hazard Assessments (JHAs).
• Work independently on customer sites often.
• Perform inspections diagnostics troubleshooting and repairs on light or heavy-duty vehicles and equipment.
• Conduct routine preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and performance.
• Complete and maintain warranty and any other documentation.
• Disassemble inspect and replace worn damaged or defective components as required.

• Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment through regular housekeeping activities.

• Complete all required documentation including daily Samsara logs accurately and in a timely manner.

• Journeyperson Truck and Coach Technician Certificate
• 3 years experience working as a Heavy Equipment Technician/Mechanic.
• Previous experience working with Hydraulics is an asset.
• Previous experience working on Vacuum Trucks is an asset.
• Ability to use diagnostic software.
• Class 5 Drivers License required with a clean drivers abstract
