Mobile Equipment Mechanic

We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team in Laval Quebec Monday to Thursday from 3:30 p.m to 2:00 a.m. Reporting to the team leader the mobile equipment mechanic is responsible for maintaining repairing and refurbishing the fleet working at various sites and following up regularly with their team leader.

What youre responsible for:

• Perform maintenance repairs and inspections on mobile equipment (trucks excavators loaders lifts etc.);
• Perform visual inspections and carry out preventive maintenance according to schedules;
• Replace defective parts and make necessary repairs;
• Ensure that equipment operates safely and in accordance with company standards;
• Travel occasionally to support the team at the Port of Quebec site.

Qualifications :

• You have a diploma in heavy equipment mechanics.
• You have PEP certification (an asset).
• You have experience with hydraulic systems (an asset).
