Job Summary
We are currently seeking an experienced Millwright to join our team at McCreedy West!
All Magna Mining team members are expected to work collaboratively with others lead the way in health and safety act with honesty integrity and foster an entrepreneurial spirit in pursuit of excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular preventive maintenance and repairs on fixed plant equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic issues in equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections on equipment to check for wear damage and safety compliance.
- Ensure equipment is safe and operational before use with a focus on maintaining compliance with Ontarios mining regulations and safety standards.
- Use diagnostic tools and technology to monitor the health of key systems and components.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and minimize downtime by performing quick repairs and troubleshooting.
- Work efficiently under pressure to avoid halting production while maintaining a focus on safety.
Requirements
Qualifications: Formal Education Certifications or Equivalents
- Millwright apprenticeship or equivalent certification/experience.
- Certification of Qualification or red seal is preferred.
Work Experience: Nature & Length
- Minimum of 3 years of experience.
