Metal Cutting Labourer

We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team in Montreal Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. As a Metal Cutting Laborer you will be responsible for cutting metal plates using an oxyfuel cutting system (torch). 

What youre responsible for:

• Ensuring equipment is in good working order before starting your day
• Using the torch to cut oversized metal parts according to department requirements
• Proceeding with dismantling while respecting the integrity of the metals in order to maximize their value
• Keeping the premises clean at all times
• Performing any other related tasks as requested

Qualifications :

To join our team:

• You have experience working with metal cutting or using cutting tools (an asset).
• You have a good knowledge of metals (an asset)
• You are well aware of occupational health and safety (OHS) rules
• You are in good physical condition and have good manual skills
• You are independent methodical and proactive
• You are diligent conscientious and demonstrate good judgment in your work
• You are comfortable working outdoors 100% of the time in a noisy and dusty environment with varying weather conditions (heat or cold
