Mechatronics Systems Engineering Co-op

Were looking for a motivated Mechatronic Systems Engineering Co-op student to join our team and gain hands-on experience in manufacturing automation engineering and continuous improvement. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals while applying classroom knowledge to real-world projects.

• Support engineering drafting and fabrication teams with project documentation and drawing updates.
• Assist with process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency quality and productivity.
• Collect and analyze production data to identify workflow improvements.
• Gain exposure to manufacturing systems automation technologies and fabrication equipment.
• Participate in quality control activities inspections and documentation.
• Assist with troubleshooting production challenges and implementing practical solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering project and operations teams to support project delivery.
• Contribute to a safe and positive work environment.

• Currently enrolled in Mechatronic Systems Engineering Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering or a related Co-op program.
• Completed at least two years of post-secondary studies.
• Interest in automation manufacturing industrial systems and process improvement.
• Strong problem-solving communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with AutoCAD SolidWorks Inventor PLCs robotics or automation systems is an asset.
• Eligible to participate in a recognized Co-op program and returning to studies after the work term.
