If you have a passion for agriculture travel technology and content creation then we cant wait to talk to you! We are looking for a motivated Marketing Intern that is eager to play a pivotal role in advancing our digital tools and marketing strategies.

WHAT YOULL BE DOING

  • Visit branches and collaborate with staff to feature each location in weekly social media content driving awareness and interaction.
  • Develop and post weekly in-field content (photos videos social media posts) that highlights branch activities agronomy and energy practices and the intern experience.
  • Research and optimize website features to align with user needs ensuring a seamless and engaging online experience.
  • Join crop scouts in-field to build agronomy knowledge.
  • Grow your industry knowledge by attending grower appreciation days and other industry events.
  • Engage with internal users and external stakeholders.

Plus you will also be responsible for your ownDigital Engagement Project

  • Travel and participate with GROWMARK Intern group as required.
  • There are mandatory travel dates in May June and late July/ early August.
  • Analyze user behavior on our new website social channels and myFS Agronomy app identifying opportunities to drive engagement and streamline the user experience
  • Conduct interviews (online and in-person) with current and potential users to gather insights for app and website optimization.
  • Project Presentation: Summarize findings and propose actionable strategies for enhancing digital engagement and effectiveness.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

  • You are currently enrolled in a degree or certification at a community college technical college or university and in good academic standing at the start of the internship with preferred candidates going into their Junior or Senior year at the time of the internship. (Note students graduating before the start of their internship do not qualify).
  • You have access to a reliable vehicle a valid G drivers license a satisfactory driving record and the ability to travel independently as needed including required passport and visas to travel to the United States.

You can demonstrate:

  • Strong understanding of the ag industry and our users to be able to develop relevant content.
  • Ability to work well independently to schedule a week of in-field travel for content interviews etc.
  • Passion for creative writing.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Aptitude to learn new technology.
  • Proficiency with cell phonesfor photos and video.
  • Strong communication and interviewing skills.
  • Interest in web page mapping and logic.

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

  • Follows GROWMARKs Code of Conduct and Compliance Program Environmental Health and Safety OHSA and Ministry of Transportation policies and procedures as they apply.
  • Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education about GROWMARKs policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
  • Participate in all GROWMARK Internship Program activities and meetings.
  • Attend three required internship events:
    • May 24-25 2027: Orientation Meeting (Bloomington IL)
    • June 28-30 2027: Mid-Summer Meeting (Location TBD)
    • August 11-12 2027: Conclusion Meeting (Bloomington IL)
  • Actively participate in mentoring networking and professional development opportunities.
  • Complete and present a summer internship project.
