Manager, Value Proposition

The Manager Value Proposition is responsible for leading the ongoing evolution growth and commercialization of the award-winning My Financial Progress (MFP) goal-based planning tool and other goals-based experiences within BMOs Goal Ecosystem that help Canadian Personal Banking customers achieve Real Financial Progress.

This role serves as the product manager for My Financial Progress supporting the development and delivery of initiatives that drive customer adoption engagement and product conversion. The successful candidate will identify and advance opportunities to create customer and business value through goals-based insights personalized recommendations and relevant product solutions within the customer experience.

The role requires a highly motivated and results-oriented professional with strong strategic analytical and project delivery skills. Working closely with partners across Product Digital Technology Analytics Customer Segments Marketing Loyalty Salesforce Enablement and Virtual Connect teams the individual will help develop and execute strategies that increase customer value deepen banking relationships and support business growth.

Key Accountabilities

Value Proposition & Product Management

Serve as the product manager for My Financial Progress and subject matter expert for BMOs Goal Ecosystem.

Contribute to the prioritization and planning of feature enhancements capabilities and customer experience improvements.

Identify opportunities to increase customer adoption engagement and product conversion through goals-based personalization and improved customer experiences.

Champion the voice of the customer in the development and enhancement of customer experiences.

Support initiatives through business casing requirements development implementation testing launch and ongoing optimization.

Monitor market trends customer needs and competitive offerings to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.

Partner with Product Digital and Technology teams to support requirements development enhancement prioritization and successful initiative delivery.

Customer Growth and Product Monetization

Support the development and execution of strategies that drive adoption engagement and product conversion across My Financial Progress.

Identify opportunities to increase product penetration deepen customer relationships and support business growth objectives.

Leverage customer insights behavioural data and analytics to develop strategies that influence customer actions and improve business outcomes.

Partner with Product Customer Growth Segment and Loyalty teams to integrate relevant banking solutions and offers into customer experiences.

Develop recommendations and business cases to support future enhancement and investment decisions.

Project Ownership and Execution

Lead and coordinate strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects from planning through implementation and post-launch optimization.

Support project planning stakeholder alignment requirements gathering risk management and change management activities.

Influence partners across business digital analytics technology and operations teams to achieve project objectives and timelines.

Help ensure initiatives are delivered on time within scope and aligned with business objectives.

Navigate ambiguity and proactively resolve issues to maintain delivery momentum.

Business Performance and Insights

Establish success metrics and performance tracking for product adoption engagement customer outcomes and conversion.

Accountable for achieving adoption engagement conversion and business performance targets for My Financial Progress.

Analyze product and customer performance data to identify opportunities for optimization and growth.

Develop ready reporting presentations and recommendations for senior leadership.

Translate complex data and insights into actionable business strategies and decisions.

Knowledge & Skills

3 years of relevant experience in financial services strategy customer growth digital channels consulting marketing or related business functions.

Experience supporting customer-focused initiatives and working with cross-functional stakeholder groups.

Strong business acumen strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to translate data and insights into actionable recommendations.

Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across multiple teams.

Strong project management and execution skills.

Effective presentation communication and storytelling capabilities.

Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Strong ownership mindset with a focus on results and continuous improvement.

Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills.

The above represents BMO Financial Groups pay range and type.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location skills experience education and qualifications for the role and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Groups expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Groups total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives discretionary bonuses as well as other perks and rewards.
