Position Summary

The Manager Theranostics Innovation will play a central role in building and scaling a next-generation theranostics program at University Health Network (UHN). This role sits at the intersection of clinical research data and AI innovation and strategic industry partnerships.

The successful candidate will help operationalize UHNs Phase 0 clinical trials program support the development of theranostics AI and data initiatives and contribute to ecosystem-building activities with industry academic and healthcare partners. This is a unique opportunity to join a high-impact fast-evolving program and help shape how theranostics is delivered studied and scaled within a leading global health system.

Duties

  • Support the design implementation and ongoing operation of UHNs Phase 0 theranostics clinical trials program with a focus on program development cross-functional alignment and removing barriers to efficient trial delivery.
  • Develop and implement standardized processes for study intake feasibility prioritization onboarding activation and repeatable playbooks for early-phase studies.
  • Coordinate across clinical trials units principal investigators imaging research operations legal regulatory institutional review and administrative stakeholders to support timely decision-making and issue resolution.
  • Contribute to master services agreements study-specific statements of work scalable workflows and approaches that support efficient activation reduced patient burden and alignment with institutional and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the development and operationalization of UHNs theranostics AI and data program by aligning data infrastructure platforms workflows and AI use cases with clinical research and operational needs.
  • Facilitate coordination with AI research groups information technology software development teams research support service cores industry sponsors commercialization teams and legal stakeholders to enable pilot projects implementation initiatives and partnership opportunities.
  • Support UHNs theranostics ecosystem strategy by planning coordinating and executing forums seminars leadership events workshops working groups strategic retreats stakeholder meetings agendas materials logistics communications summaries notes and follow-up actions.
  • Lead day-to-day program management across multiple concurrent initiatives including project plans milestones risks briefing materials reports presentations lessons learned continuous improvement and support for the operational oversight and strategic direction of UHNs Imaging core lab QIPCM.

Qualifications :

 

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in health sciences life sciences health informatics engineering science healthcare administration or a related field.
  • Four to Six or more years of relevant experience in clinical research operations translational research healthcare program management or related roles involving multidisciplinary coordination in complex organizational environments.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting complex research and clinical environments.
  • Familiarity with data-driven or AI-enabled initiatives in healthcare and the ability to translate clinical or research needs into data and technology requirements.
  • Experience contributing to cross-functional initiatives involving clinical data operational and/or commercial stakeholders.
  • Experience working with external partners such as pharmaceutical biotech or technology organizations and supporting collaborative initiatives is considered an asset.
  • Working knowledge of regulatory and institutional requirements including REB Health Canada or equivalent is considered an asset.
  • Strong project and program management skills excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams while tracking follow-ups commitments and timelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to build new programs think across systems influence without authority solve problems proactively and take ownership of both strategic and hands-on operational work.
