Manager, Strategic Planning & Process Redesign 12month contract

The Manager Strategic Planning & Process Redesign supports Indigos enterprise strategic planning process by managing the planning calendar preparing tools and materials facilitating senior leadership discussions and sustaining reporting on strategic initiatives and performance. The role also enables enterprise process redesign efforts by partnering with process owners stakeholders and subject matter experts to apply Indigos process redesign methodology and surface improvement opportunities that enhance Indigos productivity customer experience employee engagement and cost effectiveness.

MISSION

To support the strategic planning process with the scheduling tools meeting syntheses and balanced scorecard monitoring and to faciliatate and support Indigos sociotechnical systems (STS)-based process redesign initiatives.

• Stakeholder satisfaction with strategic planning facilitation tools and support.
• Stakeholder satisfaction with process redesign support and outcomes.
• Enhanced knowledge of STS methodology across the organization.
• Timely completion of Strategic Planning Process outputs.
• Timely completion of process redesign engagements within agreed scope.
• Identification and tracking of process improvement opportunities relating to cost effectiveness customer experience employee experience and productivity.
• Adherence to and adoption of Indigos sociotechnical systems process redesign methodology.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Planning Leadership

• Facilitate Indigos annual strategic planning process including the planning calendar leadership sessions materials tools templates and process discipline required to align on enterprise business unit and operating unit priorities.
• Support the CEO Executive Team and senior leaders in developing strategic objectives success measures annual operating priorities and multi-year plans.
• Facilitate strategic planning and ideation sessions SWOT reviews prioritization exercises and cross-functional planning sessions.
• Conduct research and environmental scanning to surface risks opportunities competitive trends technology developments and customer insights relevant to Indigos strategy.
• Monitor compile and prepare quarterly and annual reporting on Balanced Scorecards strategic initiatives and key performance indicators.
• Familiarize new leadership hires with Indigos Strategic Planning Process.
• Coordinate quarterly town hall planning and content with cross-functional partners and the Executive Team to communicate strategic priorities progress and enterprise updates.

Process Redesign & Continuous Improvement

• Support and lead cross-functional process redesign engagements by guiding process owners stakeholders and subject matter experts through current-state process mapping analysis redesign and recommendation development consistent with STS methodology.
• Partner with process owners to identify opportunities to improve quality efficiency customer outcomes employee experience and cost-effectiveness.
• Support process owners in implementing approved recommendations including governance change planning stakeholder engagement and performance measurement.
• Identify automation workflow optimization AI enablement and digital transformation opportunities that improve efficiency quality employee experience or customer outcomes.
• Develop tools templates standards and resources that strengthen Indigos process improvement capabilities.
• Monitor process improvement benefits with process owners and recommend corrective actions where required.

People Leadership

• Manage coach and develop the Process Redesign Analyst building capability in process redesign business analysis automation AI tools and strategic planning methodologies
• Guide secondees or cross-functional contributors assigned to specific process redesign engagements as required.
• Model Indigos Guiding Principles.

Qualifications :

• A passion for solving complex business problems through disciplined systems thinking intellectual curiosity and sound business acumen.
• Strong judgment discretion and executive presence.
• The ability to influence without authority and collaborate effectively across the organization.
• A commitment to fostering continuous improvement automation and innovation across Indigo.
• A relevant degree from a leading university with a strong record of academic achievement.
• Expertise in strategic planning business analysis process design and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication presentation and facilitation skills.
