Your work will directly support key organizational goals by enhancing digital visibility and fostering strong client will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure all internal and external communications efforts are aligned cohesive and strategic. Additionally you will provide leadership and direction to the Digital Communications Specialist guiding content execution and supporting the continued growth and impact of the digital communications one of the regions top employers and be part of something that truly makes a Arrangements: This is a hybrid role. You will work in our office in Waterloo ON a minimum of two (2) assigned consecutive days every other week plus a fifth (5th) assigned day per month. You are welcome to work from the office more than the minimum requirement and there may be some roles that are required to work in our office more than the minimum youll do:Provide guidance and oversight to the Digital Content SpecialistDevelop the organic social media marketing strategy and tactical execution to expand Equitables social presence through campaigns partnering with the lines of business empowering the employee base and building an influencer programDevelop and deliver social media training programs to employeesDevelop and manage organic social programs including social calendars and alignment with broader external and internal marketing and communications initiativesContribute to the design and development of Equitables websites and other online communication vehicles including video blogs and podcastsMaintain brand messaging and identity across social and written touchpointsReport on metrics and apply learnings to ongoing strategy and campaignsSocial listening issues management and engagement across assigned accountsEnsure social media accounts comply with company and legal social media policiesManage and report on a social budget (as determined by the AVP Corporate Communications and Philanthropy)Other social media activities as assignedWhat youll bring:Minimum 5 years of experience in social media/marketing roll across all major platforms (X (formerly known as Twitter) Instagram Facebook LinkedIn TikTok YouTube and other emerging platforms)Experience developing executing and reporting on a holistic social media program as well as on targeted organic campaignsSuperior writing and communication skillsExperience utilizing social media management tools such as Meltwater Hootsuite and Sprout Social for media and social monitoring and reportingFamiliarity and experience with content writing and creation tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative SuiteDemonstrated ability to grow a community on social mediaFamiliarity utilizing social to drive both B2B and B2C marketing strategiesDigital marketing experience is considered an assetPrior experience working in financial services industry is considered an assetPhotography and social video editing skills are considered an assetWhats in it for you:Career Growth:Regular learning sessions and development opportunitiesTotal Rewards:Allowance provided in place of vacation pay and benefitsFlexibility:Healthy work-life balance with employee wellness always top of mind complemented by a dress for your day approachAt Equitable were committed to fair pay and an inclusive accessible hiring experience.
