Manager of Cyber Security

Position: Manager of Cyber Security
Location: Toronto Ontario Onsite five days per week
Structure: Full-time permanent
Compensation: $150000$170000 base salary plus a 10% bonus and three weeks of vacation

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Manager of Cyber Security to help lead our clients cybersecurity program. Reporting to the Head of Cyber Security this hands-on leadership role will oversee security operations incident response vulnerability management governance risk and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute cybersecurity strategies roadmaps and improvement initiatives.

• Manage security operations incident response and vulnerability remediation.

• Support SOC 2 ISO 27001 NIST and CIS compliance programs.

• Develop security metrics dashboards and executive reporting.

• Provide security guidance across infrastructure applications and cloud services.

• Lead and coach cybersecurity team members.

• Support vendor security DevSecOps AI governance and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 12 years of cybersecurity or information security experience.

• Experience leading technical teams and cybersecurity programs.

• Strong knowledge of SIEM EDR/XDR IAM vulnerability management and cloud security.

• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel Defender Entra ID and Microsoft 365.

• Experience with SOC 2 Type 2 ISO 27001 NIST CSF or CIS Controls.

• CISSP CISM CRISC GIAC Security or a comparable certification.

• Strong leadership communication and executive-presentation skills.

• Valid passport eligibility to enter the U.S. and reliable personal transportation.
