TVO is seeking a strategic and results-driven professional to drive revenue growth through corporate partnerships and sponsorships. This role requires a self-starter with a strong background in business development and partnerships in the non-profit sector. The Manager Corporate Partnerships will collaborate closely with the Philanthropy team and colleagues across TVO to establish meet and exceed ambitious fundraising targets.

How you will make an impact

• Build and manage a portfolio of corporate partners and prospects through all stages of the giving cycle: identification cultivation solicitation contracts and stewardship.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with current and potential sponsors enabling long-term engagement and support.
• Research and qualify prospects against TVO programming category availability and partner fit; draft proposals decks and program information tailored to each prospects objectives; and support the Director on major solicitations with research briefing notes and follow-up.
• Conduct consistent cold and warm outreach secure meetings with senior decisionmakers and move prospects from initial contact through discovery proposal negotiation contracting and close.
• Create customized proposals sponsorship materials and stewardship and fulfillment reports.
• Work with colleagues to coordinate and oversee the successful delivery of partnership commitments.
• Build and maintain the partnership fulfillment tracker covering every contracted benefit its internal owner deadline proof of delivery and status for every active agreement.
• Own CRM records for the portfolio contacts agreements activity pipeline stage and revenue status and provide regular pipeline and fulfillment updates to the Director and management team.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends opportunities and potential threats in the corporate partnership landscape.
• Consistently model TVOs values fostering a positive and supportive culture within the Philanthropy team and across TVO.
• Participate in relevant training to stay current with industry standards and serve as TVOs subject matter expert on corporate partnerships.

What you will bring to TVO

• 5 years of experience in sponsorship fundraising and/or business development preferably within the non-profit sector.
• University undergraduate / post-secondary degree required; fundraising communications marketing or related field would be an asset.
• Demonstrated experience achieving and exceeding revenue targets through successful sales and partnership development.
• Strong business writing and presentation skills with experience producing partner-facing proposals decks activation plans mid-term and year-end impact reports and renewal cases.
• Strong understanding of moves management prospect research and engagement strategies.
• Project management experience including coordinating cross-functional delivery with marketing communications production education and finance colleagues to bring partnerships to life on time and on budget.
• Thorough understanding of database management reporting and fundraising analytics.
• Ability to work effectively through change taking initiative and exercising independent judgment to achieve results.
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with the ability to identify opportunities and develop actionable plans.
• Results-oriented with a proven track record of achieving revenue targets.
• Exceptional relationship-building interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams and departments.
