About Our Opportunity
The Manager Corporate and Community Giving plays an essential leadership role in cultivating soliciting and stewarding corporate and foundation donors to build a pipeline in support of FSGVs financial sustainability. Working within the mission vision values and person-centred philosophy of the Agency the Manager is responsible for developing and managing all activities related to a portfolio of current and prospective corporate and foundation donors. This role will be accountable for building an active portfolio by cultivating relationships with existing donors identifying new prospects and implementing strategies to engage and secure commitments of both current and pledged gifts.

Work Hours:Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm with flexible work arrangements possible. Some evenings and weekends will be required.
Salary: Grade MGS6 - $79934.40 annually with step progression to $88634.00
Location: 1638 East Broadway with the option for a hybrid work schedule

What do you need to succeed
Education Training Experience
  • 3 years of experience and demonstrated success developing and growing major giving fundraising results in a complex not-for-profit organization
  • Bachelors degree in a related field
  • Experience with online fundraising platforms (Raisers Edge NXT)
Role Qualifications and Skills include but are not limited to
  • A deep knowledge of donor relationship management
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication and organizational skills
  • Actively seeks opportunities to build relationships with a demonstrated track record of success in developing and maintaining productive relationships with a diverse group of personalities including donors volunteer leaders and committee/Board members
  • Solid understanding of planned giving vehicles such as bequests gifts of securities donor advised funds endowments life insurance annuities etc.
