Mako Product Specialist (Hybrid)

As a Mako Product Specialist at Stryker you will be responsible for providing clinical product support to all end users providing on-site guidance and providing assistance during surgical procedures. You will also conduct trainings ongoing in-services and deliver customer education to your assigned addition this role provides feedback on product design to improve performance and customer satisfaction so we can continue to grow the Joint Replacement business unit.

What you will do

• Provide surgeons and operating room staff with training and Clinical/Technical support in operating the companys robotic arm (MAKO) applications associated equipment and instruments to ensure ideal placement and precision.
• Use proprietary software to prepare pre-operative CT scans for use in conjunction with the companys RIO/ Robotic Arm Interactive Orthopedic System. Assist surgeons in preoperative implant planning implant sizing and positioning.
• Provide complete reports and associated metrics to management direct supervisor and the companys regulatory department detailing case reviews services performed and recommendations for product documentation and methodology improvements.
• Maintains and controls local consigned equipment instruments implants and disposables inventories processes sales orders and provides forecast input to Marketing
• Support company road-show demonstrations and Showsite visits to provide potential customers with opportunity to see product in use and appreciation of clinical value.
• Solve product problems for customers in an expeditious manner
• Provide case coverage at unassigned accounts
• Actively discuss the clinical benefits of the products and build strong positive relationships with key surgeons and OR staff at targeted accounts
• Collaborate with Sales Representatives and Marketing to increase public awareness.

What you need

Required

• University degree
• Minimum 2 years of work experience
• Must have reliable daily transportation and the ability to travel as needed to support national coverage and other company duties.
• Must have a valid drivers license
• Must be able to travel to the US for training

Preferred

• Degree in Biomedical Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred
• Related degrees in Kinesthetics Biology or other Science-related fields
• Minimum 2 years of product support medical device or marketing experience
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
