About the role:

We are currently seeking an experienced and professional Make-Up Artist to join our WIN News team. This role is responsible for ensuring our News Presenters and Journalists are professionally prepared for on-air appearances through the application of high-quality make-up suited to broadcast television.

Working in a fast-paced newsroom environment you will exercise sound judgement in selecting the appropriate products techniques and tools to achieve a polished on-air presentation. You will also provide make-up services for other employees and representatives of the business when required maintain the make-up room and equipment manage stock levels and order supplies and provide guidance to presenters and journalists on make-up application where appropriate.

About you:

To be the successful candidate you will have:

• Professional experience as a Make-Up Artist ideally within television media photography or a similar fast-paced environment.
• Excellent knowledge of make-up application techniques suitable for high-definition television and studio lighting.
• The ability to work independently manage competing priorities and perform well under tight deadlines.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high presentation standards.
• Strong organisational skills including the ability to manage stock levels and maintain equipment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships across the newsroom.
• A positive flexible attitude and the ability to adapt to changing production schedules.
