More importantly though we are backed by a strong team of dedicated diverse employees in all segments of our temporary and permanent business divisions including Sales Graphic/Structural/Industrial Design Production Manufacturing Logistics Accounting and People & OPPORTUNITYReporting to the VP of Operations & Logistics the Maintenance Technician has a positive attitude strong work ethic and interested in working in a growing YOULL MAKE AN IMPACTPerform routine equipment machine and tool maintenance activities on equipment including lubrication inspection and replacement partTools like glue guns pneumatic staple guns tape machines airline hoses corrugated stripper tools (Chisel hammer & screwdriver)Machines like Young Shin die cutting machines clamshell die cut presses automatan laminator PotDevin- Roll coating laminator folder/gluer guillotine slitter machines Vac Former CNC AGFA Digital Printer Kongsberg Cutting TableConduct performance tests of plant equipment machinery and toolsDiagnose troubleshoot update and repair malfunctioning plant equipment machinery and toolsMaintains equipment parts and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment parts and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receiptEstablish a preventive maintenance program for plant equipment machinery and tools; identify equipment maintenance needsMaintain asset records of equipment machine and tool history; maintain preventative maintenance records and schedulesGeneral building maintenance i.e. adjusting security cameras minor air conditioning maintenance floor repairs bay door repair minor plumbing minor electrical (changing light bulbs/ballasts)Maintain a neat tidy and organized maintenance area/cageDemonstrate behaviour aligned with the organizations valuesParticipate in special projects as assignedPerform other job-related duties consistent with the nature level and responsibilities of the position as SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVEHigh school diploma or equivalent (Grade 12); technical or trade school education is an of 2 years of experience in building facilities or industrial maintenance. Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems equipment machinery and of lubricants used in plant equipment; electrical and related codes; operational characteristics of maintenance equipment and tools; standard operating procedures for purchases and receiptsWorking knowledge of safe work practices lockout/tagout (LOTO) and applicable health and safety with hand tools power tools and common diagnostic to read and interpret equipment manuals technical drawings and basic problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
