Job Summary:
- Reporting to the Maintenance Manager as Maintenance Supervisor and will be responsible for coordinating maintenance activities planning tasks throughout the process focusing on work orders.
- Work Schedule: DayShift Monday to Friday (6:00 AM @ 02:30PM)
- College Diploma in engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a unionized maintenance environment.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in general troubleshooting and preventive maintenance programs.
- Fluency in French and English
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
- Project management skills.
- Practical knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics Knowledge.
- Knowledge of AC/DC electricity.
- Initiative and high motivation.
- Excellent coaching meeting facilitation content presentation and team-building skills.
- Proven ability in assessing mechanical capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a leader to ensure employee and team member development as well as performance in quality service and safety.
- Master programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Leverage knowledge and practical experience in operations troubleshooting and preventive maintenance to support equipment reliability in facilities.
- Motivate team members and empower them to achieve performance goals.
- Conduct evaluations and allocate necessary resources to meet maintenance needs to support operations and maximize available labor.
- Review and authorize regular and overtime hours to minimize labor costs.
- Conduct reviews and recommend items for removal or addition for spare parts or spare parts rebuilds in the CMMS and workshop room through the red-tag process.
