Job Summary
The Maintenance Supervisor leads the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of our 45-unit lodge and cabin property in beautiful Lake is a hands-on role for someone who is practical organized and enjoys working both independently and as part of a team. Youll complete maintenance and landscaping tasks while coordinating daily priorities supporting the maintenance team and ensuring the property remains safe welcoming and well work plays an important role in creating an exceptional guest Youll DoAs the Maintenance Supervisor youll:Lead the daily maintenance and landscaping activities across the propertyComplete general maintenance and minor repairs in guest rooms cabins and public areasMaintain our grounds including lawn care watering flowers and landscapingTroubleshoot minor plumbing electrical carpentry and mechanical issuesIdentify larger maintenance concerns and coordinate external contractors when requiredPlan and complete preventative maintenance programsPrioritize and respond to maintenance requests affecting guest comfort and safetySupport coach and work alongside the maintenance teamMonitor maintenance supplies equipment and tools ensuring they are well maintained and organizedPromote safe work practices and ensure safety procedures are followedWork closely with the Lodge Manager to plan maintenance priorities and property improvementsWhat This Job IsntThis is not a desk-based position or a specialized trades spend much of your day working outdoors and alongside the team. Lake Louise is a small mountain community with limited services and Banff is approximately a 45-minute drive or bus ride Were Looking ForPrevious maintenance or property maintenance experienceExperience leading supervising or mentoring a teamValid Class 5 Drivers LicenceWorking knowledge of plumbing electrical carpentry or general building maintenanceStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsAbility to prioritize work and respond to changing operational needsComfortable working independently while supporting a small teamAble to lift push and pull up to 50 lbsAvailable to work weekends and holidays as requiredGuest-focused with a commitment to maintaining high property standardsSomeone who enjoys working outdoorsLiving in Lake LouiseShared staff accommodation is available onsite or in the village subject to Louise is home to around 500 residents.
