Maintenance and Renovations Specialist

Responsibilities:Address requests for maintenance within 72 hoursPerform on-call emergency maintenance according to scheduleVacant suite maintenance renovations and touch-ups per established quality standardsGeneral common area and building maintenanceCoordinate inspections of turnover suites with the Customer Care TeamPreventative Maintenance inspections and reportingEnsure contractors complete their work per established quality standardsParticipate in training and engage in continuous learningAssist with snow removal as neededComplete all required administration for the position on a tabletComplete other duties as assignedExperience and Educational Requirements:2 years of renovation experienceTechnical Requirements:Working knowledge of English language both verbal and writtenFamiliarity with technology is requiredPainting and finishes cleaning sanding priming painting textured surfacesPlumbing repair and install toilets sinks faucets valves run power auger to clear blocked linesElectrical replacing light fixtures switches and receptaclesDrywall repairCountertops repair replaceFloors repair laminate carpet tiles and install repair baseboardsNice to have:Additional skills and experience in framing tiling drywall flooring and plumbingBasic knowledge of hydronic heating systems and furnacesDoors windows and cabinets repair replace and installLocks repair replace rekey and masteringAppliance repair and installAsbestos abatement certificationNon-Technical Requirements:Ensure to have majority of the tools on the tool list (list provided during interview)Ability to work independently and with others in a team environment (at any location as needed)Ability to spend up to eight hours walking standing climbing stairs liftingAbility to maneuver up to 90 kg with the proper equipmentStrong commitment to providing excellent customer serviceAbility to fix the problem correctly the first timeExceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilitiesAdditional Requirements:Must have a reliable vehicle and clean driving recordValid drivers license
