Job Summary
This is a physically demanding role requiring comfort working in cold conditions and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Operate forklift equipment (Order Picker / Reach / Counterbalance as required) in a freezer environment.
- Pick and prepare customer orders accurately using RF scanner or pick sheets
- Safely load unload move stack and stage products
- Perform inventory checks and report discrepancies
- Wrap pallets and prepare shipments for outbound distribution
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the freezer area
- Follow all health & safety procedures including PPE requirements
- Conduct pre-shift forklift inspections and report any mechanical issues
- Meet daily productivity and accuracy targets
Freezer temperature: -20C
Repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs
Prolonged standing walking and operating machinery
Must wear freezer PPE (thermal suit gloves etc.)
Valid forklift certification (Order Picker required; Reach/Counterbalance an asset)
Minimum 1 year experience operating forklift equipment in a warehouse setting
Experience working in freezer or cold storage environments preferred
Comfortable working in -20C conditions for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Basic computer skills (RF scanner experience preferred)
Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures
CSA-approved safety shoes required

Required Skills:
Material Handling / Order picking would be required as the tasks would include but not be limited to: Loading and unloading boxes Shipping and Receiving Material handling and sorting comfortable to lift 50 pounds Sorting boxes accurately and efficiently Order processing and fulfillment Performing general warehouse duties as requested The ideal candidate will be able to Lift carry push and pull packages and materials of up to 50 pounds in weight Read labels and charts Experience in using Order picker and RF scanning systems is an asset. Work safely to complete assigned tasks Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment is an asset
Required Education:
Completion of High School Read labels and charts Experience
