Logistics Student (Winter 2027)

JDI Logistics part of the Transportation and Logistics Division of J.D. Irving Limited is seeking a Logistics Student based in Saint John New Brunswick. This opportunity is ideal for a student who enjoys working in a dynamic environment solving problems analyzing data and supporting customer transportation needs. The hourly range for this role is between $19.89 - $22.09.

• Gather and analyze market and transportation data to support business decisions
• Assist with initiatives aimed at improving customer profitability and service performance
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to monitor transportation rates and capacity changes
• Support customer requests by tracking updating and communicating shipment and pricing information
• Maintain accurate system and customer data
• Assist with special projects and other logistics-related activities as required

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program
• Interest in operations logistics supply chain business or a related field
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Customer-focused mindset with a willingness to go above and beyond
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and data analysis is considered an asset
