Position Summary
Traferox Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator to support the efficient flow of materials inventory and finished goods within a regulated medical device environment. This role is responsible for receiving storing controlling and shipping inventory while ensuring full traceability quality compliance and accurate inventory records. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting supply chain operations quality management requirements and the timely distribution of products that contribute to life-saving transplant technologies.
Working closely with Supply Chain Quality Control and Finance the Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator will manage inbound and outbound shipments maintain inventory accuracy within the ERP system coordinate domestic and international logistics and ensure compliance with applicable shipping storage and quality standards. This position also supports quality inspections material status controls returns and recalls processes temperature-controlled storage requirements and continuous warehouse organization and safety initiatives.
Duties
Inbound and Outbound Deliveries:
- Receive inspect and record incoming shipments of materials
- supplies and products.
- Responsible for inventory traceability such as lot/serial number expiry inventory status location and shipment history in ERP
- Accurately label and store items in the designated locations within the warehouse.
- Maintain material status control: released quarantined rejected returned and nonconforming material must be physically/system segregated.
- Responsible for the accurate picking and packing orders for
- shipment.
- Perform regular cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure
- accuracy.
- Operate forklifts pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment
- safely and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with safety and security procedures.
- Keep products separated organized and maintain FEFO / expiry control where applicable.
- Prepares and coordinates all documentation for shipping with
Quality Control.
- Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics with freight forwarders
- and brokers.
- Ensure compliant shipping documentation (USMCA commercial invoices).
- Maintain housekeeping of the warehouse.
- Maintain temperature-controlled storage/shipping responsibilities including logger handling and escalation of excursions.
Quality Control Inspection:
- Conduct thorough quality control inspections of incoming and
- outgoing products.
- Identify and document any defects damages or discrepancies.
- Follow established quality control procedures and standards.
- Ensure that all products meet quality and safety requirements.
- Support returns recalls and distribution records.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Coordinate with Supply Chain (Procurement) on material requirements.
- Coordinate with Quality Control on quality related concerns.
- Support Finance with invoice reconciliation and supplier payments.
Qualifications :
Education:
- Bachelors Degree related in Supply Chain or Business related courses
Experience:
- 1-3 years of logistics and warehouse experience (preferably medical devices).
- Strong knowledge of shipping receiving inventory control and warehouse operations.
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001 ISO 13485 or similar regulated environments.
- Proven experience with ERP/MRP systems.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Fork Truck License is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Computer literacy on MS Office
- Good communication written and verbal skills
- Detail-oriented proactive and able to prioritize in fast-paced settings.
