Lead Sourcing Specialist 2 Product Site Sourcing Leader

Essential Responsibilities:

• Represent Sourcing during scheduled functional reviews and prepare Sourcing Review templates for leadership Business Reviews for NPI programs
• Engage with Supplier Quality Engineers to drive a robust process on Supplier Selection Supplier qualification and monitor Supplier Performance KPIs to develop supply base ability to deliver value
• Work effectively with technology supplier quality site materials and supply chain personnel on day-to-day problem resolutions engineering change process and improvement opportunities
• Lead assigned sourcing initiatives and developed sourcing strategy to drive product lines deflation sole source elimination supplier early engagement supplier on time delivery supplier MOQ/lead-time reduction/VMI programs.
• Partner with key commodity sourcing leaders to align sourcing strategy initiatives and leverage volumes globally and regionally
• Engage the business leadership team to develop sourcing programs / processes
• Conduct qualification & competitive analysis of vendor products / services
• Develop plan and manage programs to meet GE purchasing commitments in Sourcing
• Manage the complete purchasing and contracts (MSA NDA and Bailments)

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS degree (Engineering or Business preferred)
• Minimum 5 years Sourcing / Procurement Supplier Management experience in a major industrial environment
• Ability to collaborate with remote team across time zones
• Knowledge/expertise of Grid Automation product lines electronic components and mechanical assemblies
• Interpretation of purchasing contracts industry standards regulatory requirement documents

For candidates applying to a Canadian-based position the pay range for this position is between 88900.00 and 112000.00 CAD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience education and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus
