Lead GCP Architect
Job Summary
Role Purpose
The purpose of this role is to define secure integration strategies devise solution frameworks for enterprise systems and identify infrastructure dependencies to enable efficient and compliant implementation.
Area of Responsibility
Requirement Analysis-Collaborate with business leaders and technical teams to define solution strategies that align with enterprise IT roadmap security and risk management requirements ensuring implementation feasibility across multiple systems.
Designing-Create design frameworks for enterprise systems review implementation across applications and assist in creating reusable patterns and governance processes to ensure proper integration and risk control.
Integration assessment and support-Define integration framework manage infrastructure dependencies and create strategies for secure and efficient integration across enterprise systems.
Troubleshooting-Assess the solution in the client environment and address any issues identified during the troubleshooting process through appropriate remediation steps.
Risk Analysis and Assessment-Identify potential risks potential impact and define governance processes for risk management and compliance across enterprise solutions and review its adherence.
RFPs-Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to contribute to proposals by providing inputs on the interoperability of multiple applications within an enterprise system identification of change areas and integration approaches aligned with business needs.
Role Overview
We are seeking a client-facingLead GCP Architectto support the adoption of a new enterprise GCP platform by application teams. The role requires a hands-on architect who can provide solution leadership guide application onboarding and modernization address architecture and connectivity challenges and influence platform evolution through best practices architecture patterns and thought leadership.
The architect will work closely with Enterprise Architecture Security Platform Engineering Program Management and Application teams to drive successful adoption and implementation of cloud-native solutions on GCP.
Key Responsibilities
- Support application teams in adopting enterprise GCP platforms and architectural standards.
- Define and review solution architectures aligned with business security and operational requirements.
- Provide guidance on application modernization cloud-native architectures integration patterns and data ecosystem adoption.
- Collaborate with enterprise stakeholders to resolve architecture networking security and implementation challenges.
- Conduct architecture reviews technical workshops and design governance activities.
- Develop architectural patterns reference solutions best practices and point-of-view (POV) documents to mature platform adoption.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship across architecture and engineering teams.
Required Skills
- Strong GCP architecture and implementation experience with services such asCloud Run Cloud SQL Memorystore Google Cloud Storage (GCS) Load Balancing container-based workloads and cloud-native application architectures.
- Strong networking expertise includingShared VPC Private Service Access (PSA) Private Google Access (PGA) Private Service Connect (PSC) VPC architecture hybrid connectivity and enterprise networking patterns.
- Strong architecture and solutioning capabilities acrossapplication modernization cloud-native architecture application maturity assessments event-driven architectures integration architecture infrastructure architecture data ecosystem integration and designing solutions that meet security scalability availability performance and resiliency requirements.
- Experience collaborating withEnterprise Architecture Security Program Management Platform Engineering and Application Development teams with the ability to influence both technical and business stakeholders.
- Demonstratedownership proactive problem-solving independent delivery and strong communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure toDevSecOps SRE Observability Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
Experience
- 10 years of IT experience with significant architecture responsibilities.
- 5 years of GCP architecture and implementation experience.
- Proven experience in client-facing consulting cloud adoption and modernization programs.
