Job Summary
Maritime Civil & Energy is a leader in civil construction offering expertise in infrastructure projects across Eastern Canada. The range for this role will be ($17-$26) per hour.
Responsibilities
- Handle materials and equipment: Safely lift carry and move construction materials around job sites.
- Perform general labour tasks: Shoveling raking pouring concrete and other hands-on work to support construction projects.
- Site maintenance: Keep the job site clean organized and free of hazards throughout the day.
- Assist with traffic control: Direct traffic around construction zones when required to ensure the safety of workers and the public.
- Perform inspections: Check equipment and site conditions to identify potential hazards before starting tasks.
Qualifications
This position is located in Sussex New Brunswick.
- Experience: 2-5 years of labour experience in the civil construction industry is preferred but not required for motivated candidates.
- Skills & Knowledge: A strong safety mindset attention to detail and the ability to work in fast-paced changing environments.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as shoveling lifting carrying and pushing wheelbarrows for extended periods.
- Team Player: Strong communication skills and a willingness to collaborate with your crew and leadership.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
