Junior Real Estate Law Clerk
Job Summary
Our client is a well-established boutique law firm located in Central Toronto (North Toronto West) with a strong practice focused on real estate law as well as personal injury matters. The firm is known for its client-focused approach collaborative environment and fast-paced practice supporting both residential and commercial transactions.
They are currently seeking a Junior Real Estate Law Clerk to join their growing team. This opportunity is ideal for someone with 1-3 years of experience who is looking to further develop their career within a supportive and professional law firm environment.
The successful candidate will assist with residential real estate transactions from opening through closing while supporting lawyers and clients throughout the process. This role requires strong attention to detail excellent organization and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a busy legal setting.
- Assist with residential real estate transactions from file opening to closing
- Prepare and review legal and closing documentation
- Coordinate with clients lenders brokers and opposing counsel
- Conduct title and off-title searches
- Prepare reporting letters and closing packages
- Manage file organization deadlines and follow-ups
- Maintain accurate records and documentation within legal software systems
- Provide administrative and client service support to the legal team
13 years of experience in real estate law Law Clerk diploma or equivalent legal administration experience preferred Familiarity with residential real estate transactions and closing procedures Experience with title searches and legal documentation preparation Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication and client service abilities Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Experience with legal software such as Teraview or Unity would be considered an asset
- Salary: Approximately $55000 annually (based on experience)

Required Skills:
LL.B. or J.D. from an accredited law school Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario Approximately 13 years of experience practicing real estate law Exposure to residential real estate transactions is strongly preferred Strong drafting organizational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities Professional client-focused and eager to learn
