Whats In It For You:
$50.25 - $55.84 / hr (probationary to full rate)
o$2.55 Remote Mine Premium
o$3.25 Night Shift Premium

Take on a role where your skills and passion keep equipment moving. As a Heavy Duty Mechanic with the BC Mobile Team youll troubleshoot and perform running repairs on mechanical hydraulic and electrical systems and perform preventative maintenance across a wide range of Caterpillar Equipment in both a shop and field environment.
Your work will include:
Field diagnosis and running repairs of Caterpillar and non-Caterpillar equipment in field environment (possibility of remote locations)
Respond to customer needs in a positive supportive and timely manner to ensure maximum value for work performed.
Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
Utilize Caterpillar SIS and ET daily
Complete technical documentation (service reports warranty crossover notes)
Interact with customers sales support and the rest of the Finning team
Qualifications:
Interprovincial Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) Certification(On-Road & Off Road)
Dual Tickets will be an asset
3 years demonstrated experience in a Field Truck
Valid drivers license with a successful recent driver abstract
Previous Caterpillar experience is an asset
Willingness to participate and complete additional training
Self-motivated computer literate and safety orientated with the ability to work under minimal supervision
