We are hiring for a variety of positions which include:
Engine Assembly and Service Bay
Powertrain Assembly and Service Bay
Expanded Mining Component Rebuild Technician
Qualifications:
Heavy Equipment Technician and/or Off-Road Journeyperson ticket or interprovincial Red Seal is required
Multiple years experience working on heavy equipment Engine / powertrain components
Understanding of engine / powertrain components and how they function
Understanding of proper torquing procedures
Capable of operating basic service tools as well as all critical analog measuring devices including dial bore gauges and micrometers
Strong organizational skills and ability to follow work instructions
Must be able to communicate written and spoken English effectively
Ability to regularly lift and handle material weighing up to 40 pounds
A condition of employment is the ability to be fit tested and the ability to wear a respirator
Candidate must demonstrate the ability to work in a safe manner & comply in all aspects of the organizations policies and procedures
Note:
A variety of static shifts are available afternoon (Monday to Thursday 4pm - 2:30am) and weekend shifts (Friday - Sunday 6am-6:30pm)
Any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement
Hourly Rate: $53.05 / Hour
Afternoon shift premium available
