• We are hiring for a variety of positions which include:

  • Engine Assembly and Service Bay

  • Powertrain Assembly and Service Bay

  • Expanded Mining Component Rebuild Technician

Qualifications:

• Heavy Equipment Technician and/or Off-Road Journeyperson ticket or interprovincial Red Seal is required

• Multiple years experience working on heavy equipment Engine / powertrain components

• Understanding of engine / powertrain components and how they function

• Understanding of proper torquing procedures

• Capable of operating basic service tools as well as all critical analog measuring devices including dial bore gauges and micrometers

• Strong organizational skills and ability to follow work instructions

• Must be able to communicate written and spoken English effectively

• Ability to regularly lift and handle material weighing up to 40 pounds

• A condition of employment is the ability to be fit tested and the ability to wear a respirator

• Candidate must demonstrate the ability to work in a safe manner & comply in all aspects of the organizations policies and procedures

Note:

• A variety of static shifts are available afternoon (Monday to Thursday 4pm - 2:30am) and weekend shifts (Friday - Sunday 6am-6:30pm)

• Any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement

• Hourly Rate: $53.05 / Hour

• Afternoon shift premium available
