Job Summary

Summit Search Group is excited to partner with our client a well-established Heating and Air Conditioning company in Regina Saskatchewan to recruit a skilled Journeyman Plumber.

As a Journeyman Plumber you will be responsible for the installation maintenance troubleshooting and repair of residential commercial and light industrial plumbing systems. This role requires strong technical expertise a customer-focused mindset and the ability to work independently while delivering high-quality workmanship across a variety of job sites.


Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints drawings and technical specifications.
  • Install repair and maintain plumbing systems fixtures water supply lines drainage systems and piping.
  • Measure cut thread and assemble piping using hand and power tools.
  • Diagnose plumbing issues and perform repairs efficiently and safely.
  • Install and service hot water tanks water heaters pumps valves and related plumbing equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and inspections to ensure plumbing systems operate safely and efficiently.
  • Test plumbing systems for leaks and ensure installations meet applicable building codes and regulations.
  • Complete work orders service reports estimates and documentation accurately and efficiently.
  • Supervise and mentor apprentices by providing technical guidance and support.
  • Communicate professionally with customers regarding repairs maintenance recommendations and project updates.
  • Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment while following all company and safety policies.

Qualifications

  • Journeyperson Plumber Certification (Red Seal preferred).
  • Completion of a recognized plumbing apprenticeship program.
  • Valid safety certifications (or willingness to obtain).
  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary technical training is considered an asset.
  • Minimum 35 years of hands-on plumbing experience in residential commercial or light industrial environments.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints drawings and technical specifications.
  • Excellent troubleshooting diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of plumbing codes regulations and industry best practices.
  • Physically capable of performing job duties including lifting materials working in confined spaces and climbing ladders.
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong work ethic reliability and commitment to exceptional customer service.
