More information will be provided to those that are chosen for an is a permanent full-time role with guaranteed 40 hours per week and great benefits including extended health & dental group RRSP matching profit sharing and many more!Responsibilities:Ensure proper maintenance and service furnacesRepair/replace furnaces as requiredExhaust fan repair and serviceNew capital refrigeration installationsEnsure proper maintenance and service on MUA rooftop and refrigeration unitsPerform maintenance troubleshooting and adjustments on HVAC control systemsMaintain proper records of inspectionsComplete all required paperwork and other tasks as assignedExperience and Educational Requirements: Valid Journeyman Certificate as an HVAC Technician Red Seal is an assetAble to work on units up and above 5 tons3 to 5 years residential / commercial experience requiredTechnical Requirements: Experience installing and doing service work and troubleshooting on heat pumpsPrevious experience doing inspections on heating and domestic hot water boilersWorking knowledge of English language both verbal and writtenFamiliarity with computer tablets is an assetNon-Technical Requirements:Ability to spend up to eight hours walking standing climbing stairs liftingAbility to maneuver up to 90kg with the proper equipmentStrong commitment to providing excellent customer serviceAbility to take responsibility for all actions and decisions and to follow through until a resolution is obtainedExceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilitiesExcellent time-management skillsAbility to work independently (self-managed) and with other Associates in a team environmentDemonstrates a positive attitude and enthusiasmAdditional Details: Vehicle requiredValid drivers license requiredOn call and overtime requiredSpecialized tools provided
