Journeyman Electrician

Role Summary:

We are seeking a Local Journeyman Electrician to join our team in Peace will install electrical systems on industrial projects/sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install electrical systems equipment and components.
• Interpret electrical drawings blueprints and technical specifications.
• Ensure all work complies with electrical code safety regulations and company policies.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Test electrical systems using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Collaborate with other trades and contractors on job sites.
• Complete documentation work orders and reports as required.
• Maintain tools equipment and a clean safe work environment.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Valid Journeyperson Electrician Certificate (Red Seal certification preferred)
• Valid H2S Alive Fall Protection Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED) and CSTS 2020
• Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and OH&S requirements
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
• Proficient with hand tools testing devices and electrical equipment
• Valid drivers licence
• Flexible availability for shift work overtime and weekends with a strong focus on safety and self-direction
• Ability to work in various environments including heights confined spaces and outdoor conditions

Compensation & Benefits:

• Shift: Various shift schedules available
• Working Hours: Opportunity to work 8 to 12 hours per day based on workload requirements
• Overtime: Overtime opportunities may be available on an occasional basis
• Apprentices: Support is provided for apprenticeship programs and completion of required hours
