Key Information:
  • Hours: Project dependent; Monday - Friday. Minimum 40 hours per week with overtime necessary during the busy season (April-October)
  • Hourly rate is dependent on experience.

Job Description:
  • Interpret electrical code specifications.
  • Read and interpret drawings blueprints schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
  • Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity current voltage and resistance.
  • Maintain repair install and test switchgear transformers switchboard meters regulators and reactors.
  • Troubleshoot maintain and repair industrial electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices.
Experience and Certification Requirements:
  • Journeyman Electrician Certification or equivalent is required.
  • At least 2-3 years working as a Journeyman Electrician or equivalent experience required.
  • Good physical stamina manual dexterity and the ability to lift heavy parts climb ladders.
  • CSTS 2020 and WHMIS 2015 are required.
  • Fall Protection & Rescue Aerial Platform Confined Spaces Rigging/Hoisting and Hand. Signals H2S Alive and First Aid/CPR certification would be an asset.
  • You have a safety conscious attitude and able to work with others in a team.
  • A reliable means of transportation is required.
  • Proficient English language skills required.
Education: Journeyman Certification of equivalent.
