Job Overview

Werelooking for a strategic and collaborative Senior Business Development Specialist to help strengthen our national Business Development approach and support profitable growth acrossregions.

As a trusted advisor to leaders and regional teamsyoullturn business priorities and performance data into practical strategies tools and insights that improve sales effectiveness and broker engagement.

Job Responsibilities

  • Strategic Collaboration:Partner with leaders and regional teams to align regional activities with national priorities.
  • Sales Enablement:Lead the development and rollout of sales playbooks tools processes and training that support profitable growth.
  • Performance Insights:Develop dashboards scorecards and reporting tools thatidentifyopportunities and support informed decision-making.
  • Project Leadership:Lead cross-functional Business Development initiatives from planning through implementation.
  • Process Improvement:Improve Business Development processes systems and governance to create greater consistency and accountability.
  • Capability Building:Provide guidance resources andexpertisethat strengthen Business Development capabilities across the organization.
Qualifications
  • At least five years of experience in insurance business development sales enablement or a related field.
  • Strong analytical communication relationship-building and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience translating data into actionable business insights.
  • A collaborative proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Experience with Power BI Salesforce underwriting or performance improvement is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of the Canadian P&C insurance industry and broker distribution model is considered an asset.
  • CIP designation or relevant post-secondary education is considered an asset.
