• Pay Rate: C$70.00C$90.00 / Hour (CAD)

This role is specifically for candidates who are open to and seeking full-time employment not contract or CTW engagements. The successful candidate will bring strong hands-on Go (Golang) development experience and the ability to lead and mentor a development team within an enterprise financial services environment.

• Lead and mentor a development team providing technical direction and guidance
• Champion and instill clean code principles and software development best practices across the team
• Write and maintain comprehensive unit test suites following Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices
• Integrate static code analysis and security/vulnerability scanning tools such as Snyk and SonarQube into CI/CD pipelines
• Contribute to AI-assisted/AI-driven software development tools and practices

• Strong hands-on experience with Go (Golang) application development
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a development team providing technical direction and guidance
• Strong working knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices including writing and maintaining comprehensive unit test suites
• Experience with static code analysis and security/vulnerability scanning tools such as Snyk and SonarQube
• Strong emphasis on clean code principles and software development best practices with the ability to champion and instill these standards across the team
• Awareness of and genuine interest in AI-assisted/AI-driven software development tools and practices
• Excellent communication skills

• Experience with AWS Secrets Manager
• Experience integrating SonarQube into CI/CD pipelines

• Computer Science degree (or equivalent) ideally required

• 68 years of overall software development experience
• Minimum 23 years of dedicated hands-on Go (Golang) development experience
