Italian Language Instructor (Grades 3 & 4)

Laurus is seeking a passionate and engaging Italian Language Instructor to teach introductory Italian to students in Grades 3 and 4.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and creating a fun interactive learning environment that encourages language development and cultural appreciation.

• Plan and deliver engaging Italian language lessons for Grades 3 and 4.
• Foster students speaking listening reading and basic writing skills in Italian.
• Create an interactive and inclusive classroom environment through games songs storytelling and other age-appropriate activities.
• Adapt lessons to students varying learning styles and abilities.
• Maintain a positive respectful and well-managed classroom environment.
• Communicate with the Laurus team regarding attendance scheduling and program-related matters.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students.

• Fluency in Italian (spoken and written).
• Experience teaching Italian and working with elementary-aged children is considered a strong asset.
• Background in education languages linguistics or a related field is an asset.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Energetic reliable organized and professional.
• Eligible to work in Canada.
