IT Project Manager

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure that all deadlines are met. Delegating the tasks to the right product/functional leads as needed
• Take the lead on projects delegating tasks and managing the productivity of project team with the best possible strategies to avoid timeline/cost delays including divide/concur strategies
• Identify gaps in client project management model and help create an integrated project plan with key activities/deadlines identified to create transparency. Ensure milestones are met on time.
• Assigning tasks to the right team members checking on their progress and ensuring that each project is completed on time and to the highest standard.
• Keep the project team focused on the end goal and communicate changes/impacts
• Communicate project status to stakeholders (internal Sodales and external client) and key project participants such as 3rd party vendors along with critical path items.
• Optimize project deliverables schedule and timeline to reduce risks
• Stay aware of company goals and strategies to ensure projects align with business priorities of Sodales including internal projects
• Standardize tools and template for project management
• Work with proposal teams to develop timeline estimates and project plans for new clients
  
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and team leadership skills by building relationships internally and externally.
• Strong organizational time management and verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrate Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools as well as other tools such as Jira and MPP.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in computer science project management
• 5 years of PM experience as SaaS based Project Manager
• Must have PMP or scrum certifications
• Experience with SAP technologies is a plus
• Minimum 4 full life-cycle implementation projects
  
• Able to work on 3-4 projects concurrently
• Must have outstanding presentation skills
