As a Project Lead you will be responsible for leading the implementation of technology enabled business solutions for the J.D. Irving Limited group of this role you will provide strong leadership in a dynamic and fast paced work environment enabling the growth and improvement of the businesses.

All successful applicants must meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP) Canadian Government Security clearance and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

• Lead the delivery of information technology projects into the J.D. Irving businesses through all stages of the project lifecycle from original concept to implementation
• Manage communications related to the project at all levels of the organization and across businesses; including executive levels
• Proactively engage in coaching and mentoring of project team members to help staff reach optimal level of performance and foster a working environment open to new ideas and innovative solutions
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure client success
• Responsible for the management of project scope schedule budget resourcing risk and quality management
• Monitoring satisfaction and identifying opportunities for improvement
• Manage the integration of vendor tasks and track and review vendor deliverables
• Communicating with customers to provide updates gather feedback and address any issues or concerns
• Communicating the value of IT initiatives and achievements to the organizations leadership and stakeholders
• Providing guidance and support to customers in using the company product and services effectively

• Education Required: Bachelors Degree in Business Computer Science or Engineering MBA preferred
• Years of Experience Required: 3-5 years of project management with IT experience and demonstrated career progression
• Excellent leadership people and process management skills with proven success in a fast paced environment
• Ability to organize analyze interpret and evaluate problems and provide solutions with the right sense of urgency
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal at all levels within the organization
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously
• Lean Six Sigma experience would be considered an asset
• Prosci certification would be considered an asset
• Agile Project Management Certification would be considered an asset
