Primary Responsibilities
- Internal and External Audits: Participate in the preparation execution and assessment of compliance activities related to AS9100D and customer-specific requirements.
- Quality Management System (QMS) Support: Maintain and support the ongoing effectiveness of the Business Process Management System (BPMS) and conduct Internal Layered Process Audits.
- Quality Assurance Activities: Lead and support key quality processes including Material Review Board (MRB) and containment activities but not limited to this aspect.
- Continuous Improvement: Apply quality tools data analysis and risk-based thinking to improve processes eliminate ambiguity and enhance the effectiveness of the QMS.
- Quality Metrics and Reporting: Compile analyze and report quality performance data. Develop charts graphs dashboards and quality reports to support decision-making.
- Standards and Compliance: Stay current with applicable industry standards regulatory requirements and customer expectations impacting the QMS.
- Inspection and Verification: Perform inspections tests and audits of purchased parts materials equipment assemblies and quality control programs to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Technical Evaluation: Interpret manufacturing drawings diagrams specifications and bills of materials to determine acceptance or rejection of in-process and final assemblies.
- Measurement and Inspection Methods: Utilize visual inspection techniques and precision measurement tools as required. Assist in developing and improving inspection methods and procedures.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to address quality-related issues communicate nonconformances and support root cause and corrective action investigations.
- Training and Mentorship: Provide ongoing coaching and guidance on quality management system requirements and best practices. Develop training materials and support quality-related training initiatives.

- Capable of reading interpreting and preparing technical reports while understanding complex technical requirements.
- Working knowledge of AS9100D ISO 9001 or other applicable quality management system standards.
- Strong research investigative interviewing and problem-resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Process-oriented mindset with sound auditing and compliance assessment capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word Excel Outlook and PowerPoint.
Desired Education and Experiences
- High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience or a 2-year post-secondary diploma/associate degree with 02 years of related experience.
- Broad understanding of manufacturing processes quality inspection methods and configuration management principles.
- Experience utilizing Power Business Intelligence for data analysis reporting and performance monitoring.
- Lean Manufacturing certification (Lean Certificate) or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt designation considered an asset.
- Experience working effectively within cross-functional teams in a manufacturing or quality-focused environment.
- ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT) or equivalent quality certification considered an asset.
- Training and practical knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Knowledge of quality management systems continuous improvement methodologies and industry best practices is preferred
