Job Summary

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Develop housing support plans with an emphasis to housing stability factors.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with local housing authorities housing management bodies and private landlords.
  3. Navigate systems and coordinating services within the community.
  4. Support and attend court proceedings assist clients with accessing legal resources.
  5. Provide information resources and advocacy for clients.
  6. Accompany clients to appointments to access community resources affordable housing financial support etc.
  7. Refer clients to community support including medical educational mental health addictions cultural and other pro social activities.
  8. Liase with service groups and agencies as required for program services.
  9. Educate community partners to referral processes and services being offered by the YWCA.
  10. Establish and maintain professional relationships with community contacts.
