Position Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing clients in all of their auto insurance needs primarily focusing on ICBC Private Auto and Mode replacement insurance. We are looking for an individual who is a self-starter friendly and comfortable with working in a high pressure self-paced environment. This is a full-time regular position.

Responsibilities:

• Providing ICBC and private auto coverage in the office and dealerships
• Assisting in the office as needed by helping customers at the counter answering telephones and completing other tasks as assigned
• Setting and adhering to production budgets including ICBC Autoplan Private Auto Sales production
• Committing to remaining connected to HUB International in the bigger picture and understand the mission values and goals of HUB
• Interpreting and ensuring that insurer (ICBC Family etc.) and BC Insurance Council rules and regulations are followed
• Handling any customer complaints appropriately
• Ensuring control of ICBC inventory and correct handling of all documentation and funds
• Continuing professional development in order to enhance skills and abilities
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Skills Characteristics & Qualifications

• Level1 General Insurance License mandatory
• 6 months Auto Insurance experience
• Demonstrated abilities in providing exceptional client service
• Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
• Sales initiative and drive
• Exceptional customer service skills

The expected salary range for this positionis$41000 to $55000and willbeimpactedby factors such as the successful candidates skills experience and working location as well as the specific positions business linescopeand International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits disability insurance RRSP matching paid-time-offbenefits andeligible bonuses and commissions for some positions.
