Job Description Summary
The Industrialization Team in Markham is seeking a hands-on Technician to work closely with Test and Process Engineers supporting the development and maintenance of both test systems and assembly/process tools to ensure production readiness and operational this role you will help develop optimize and streamline manufacturing processes for New Product Introduction (NPI) and existing product lines. You will provide critical support in the assembly wiring maintenance and troubleshooting of automated test stations fixtures and production equipment.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assemble wire and maintain automated test stations fixtures and manufacturing equipment.
- Support the debugging integration and modification of functional test systems and assembly tools.
- Provide L1/L2 production floor support and cooperate with engineers on complex issue resolution.
- Participate in test equipment tool and consumable parts inventory management.
- Support test equipment calibration parts purchasing and replenishment.
- Support NPI industrialization activities and production readiness.
- Contribute to Kaizen cost-out and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Electronics Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field.
- Proven hands-on experience in electronics assembly wiring or manufacturing equipment support.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams schematics and assembly drawings.
- Proficiency with soldering and the use of hand/power tools in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with test instruments NI hardware MikroE and similar embedded systems.
