Onsite - This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Oshawa Assembly on a full-time basis.

The Opportunity

We are looking for experienced Millwright/Industrial Millwright Mechanics to join our Oshawa Facility!

Key Responsibilities

• Safely repair overhaul install replace and/or perform preventative maintenance on various types of equipment

• Ability to fabricate parts and assemblies from blueprints or scratch

• Troubleshoot robotic welding cells hydraulic and pneumatic circuits valves cylinders conveyance systems gear boxes and pump

• Rigging and Hoisting

Who We Are Looking For:

• High School education with a valid Millwright License

• Successful completion of Canadian Millwright Apprenticeship Program

• Basic Computer Skills

• Welding experience and Heavy Equipment license an asset - Broderson

• Dual Ticket a definite asset

• Must be available to work any shift

• Ability to work scheduled overtime as required

• We are a Unifor-represented workplace

• Compensation: Starting at a full rate of $55.97 plus a Cost Of Living Adjustment (COLA) currently $0.05/hour

• Plus you will earn an afternoon shift premium of 5% a night shift premium of 10% paid overtime (x1.5 and x2.0) in accordance with the collective agreement

• COLA Adjustments on a quarterly basis

• DC Pension Program with Employer Match up to 2080 hours

• Annual General Wage increases scheduled in 2024 and 2025
