Compensation: $44.30/hr

Principal Accountabilities
- Read and interpret drawings blueprints schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layouts for industrial electrical equipment installations
- Install examine replace repair and maintain electrical wiring receptacles switch boxes conduits feeders fiber-optic and coaxial cable assemblies lighting fixtures and other electrical components
- Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity current voltage and resistance
- Maintain repair install and test switchgear transformers switchboard meters regulators and reactors
- Maintain repair test and install electrical motors generators alternators uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems
- Troubleshoot maintain and repair industrial electrical and electronic control systems and related equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance activities and maintain accurate maintenance records
- Troubleshoot and install fire alarm systems and support construction-related electrical projects
- Work with and maintain Allen-Bradley VFDs and 600-volt distribution systems (MCCs)
- Ensure compliance with all company safety policies procedures and regulations
- Maintain a safe organized and clean work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Certified Journeyperson Electrician ticket recognized in Alberta
- Three (3) to five (5) years of electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing industrial environment
- Expertise with Canadian Electrical Code and industrial electrical systems
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining: Allen-Bradley PLCs and VFDs / Motor Control Centers (MCCs) / 600V electrical distribution systems / Electrical motors and control circuits / Hydraulic and pneumatic control systems / Switchgear and transformers
- Experience with fire alarm installation and troubleshooting
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings schematics and technical manuals
- Proficient in electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools
- Strong troubleshooting problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- PLC programming and troubleshooting experience
- Working knowledge of automation systems and industrial networks
- Relevant certifications as Industrial Electrician
- Red Seal ticket
