Job Summary
Matrix HR is seeking experienced Implementation Technicians to join our national team in supporting large-scale technology deployments network infrastructure and field support services across Canada. What We Offer
- Competitive pay rate of $25.00 to $30.00 per hour based on your experience
- Comprehensive travel compensation including paid travel and a $42.00 daily per diem for eligible out-of-town work
- Mileage reimbursement of $0.60/km when using your personal vehicle

- Install configure test and troubleshoot technology infrastructure including structured cabling (Cat5e Cat6 Cat6A Fibre Optic Coaxial)
- Deploy and commission network equipment such as routers switches and wireless access points
- Install and support peripheral hardware including POS systems printers and servers
- Perform professional cable routing termination testing and certification to industry standards
- Conduct site surveys and accurately interpret construction drawings and network diagrams
- Provide on-site customer support during installations and ensure all project deliverables are met
- Maintain accurate daily reporting and documentation for all assigned tasks
- Safely operate Elevated Work Platforms (EWP) and strictly follow all Working at Heights safety procedures
- Travel extensively throughout assigned provinces and surrounding areas to support project deployments
- Proven experience in structured cabling data cabling or fibre optic installation
- Background in telecommunications low voltage systems or network infrastructure
- Experience with IT hardware installation POS deployments or field service operations
- Technical familiarity with Cisco equipment network switches and security systems is considered a strong asset
- Valid drivers licence and a reliable vehicle are mandatory for this role
- Valid Working at Heights or Fall Protection certification
- Elevated Work Platform (EWP) certification is required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and comfort working at heights in various site conditions
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently in the field
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
