Role and Responsibilities
An Identity Management Analyst will be responsible for the administration maintenance and improvement of clients identity and access management (IAM) systems. This role is crucial in safeguarding the organizations digital identities ensuring that only authorized individuals have access to sensitive information and works closely with various business units to implement robust identity management solutions and procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage and maintain IAM systems ensuring they are up-to-date and configured as per the best practices and addressing any discrepancies or issues.
- Collaborate and work closely with other Identity SMEs and other IT teams to integrate SailPoint with in-scope applications.
- Administer and maintain both Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID including lifecycle management and group policies.
- Configure and manage enterprise SSO integrations within Entra ID including onboarding thirdparty SaaS applications by coordinating with vendors to establish and validate federation components such as metadata certificates and claim mapping.
- Assist in maintaining workflows and connectors to align with business process and application requirements.
- Monitor and respond to IAM-related incidents and requests ensuring timely resolution.
- Assist in running access governance campaigns configuring role-based access controls application on-boarding/off-boarding and managing identity life cycles including service accounts uncorrelated accounts and distribution lists
- Perform required tasks for Logical Access Control; tasks relevant to Identity & Access Management including access request access provision/deprovision communication and documentation of operational processes and procedures etc
- Utilize troubleshooting skills to understand moderately complex systems/issues related to user Identity and access and potential root causes.
- Work closely with 2nd and 3rd level support when required for any troubleshooting or escalations.
- Provide reports data and metrics as requested for audits or by the management.
- Assist in the development and implementation of security policies procedures and guidelines related to IAM.
- Participate in security incident response activities providing expertise on IAM-related threats and vulnerabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field.
- Experience with Identity and Access Management systems and tools. 3 years of hands-on experience with Identity and Access Management platforms.
- Authentication technologies and platforms such as SAML LDAP LAPS SCIM OAuth Active Directory etc.
- Strong understanding of security principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Identity and Access Management systems and tools such as SailPoint ISC Entra ID or Active Directory or is highly preferred.
- Experience with Privileged Access Management platforms such as BeyondTrust or Cyberark is preferred
